Our Services

  • Karate is one of the best foundations to start with. It helps children build balance, improve hand–eye coordination, develop focus and discipline, and gain confidence—all while staying active and having a great time. Our Tiny Tigers program is specially created for young children, featuring 30 minute classes, carefully timed to keep them engaged and focused.

  • Our Youth Martial Arts program for ages 7–12 is designed to build strong minds, confident attitudes, and capable bodies. Through structured routines and consistent training, students develop discipline, respect, and a clear understanding of responsibility both on and off the mat. Classes also strengthen focus and attention by guiding students to carefully follow instructions, practice techniques with purpose, and stay engaged during drills. The result is improved concentration, better listening skills, and greater self-confidence—all within a positive, supportive environment where students are motivated to do their best.

  • Our Teen & Adult Martial Arts program (ages 13+) is built for individuals who want to challenge themselves mentally and physically while developing real-world skills. Training emphasizes accountability, resilience, and personal growth in a structured, motivating environment. Classes sharpen mental clarity and concentration by requiring precision, timing, and technical execution. Through drills, partner work, and conditioning, students enhance coordination, balance, control, and overall fitness. Beyond physical benefits, the program builds confidence, composure under pressure, and a deep sense of respect—for instructors, training partners, and themselves.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • It can be a scary step to walk into a dojo for the first time, and it takes courage. The hardest belt to earn is the white belt because it means they were brave enough to try. Karate can truly be life changing. From confidence, focus, discipline, better grades in school, and learning how to become bully proof from our life skills. Once they come in, they will improve in ways that you won’t believe. I have seen it repeatedly for many years. Every Black Belt had a first day!

  • Arrive 15 -20 minutes before class time. Have your student wear comfortable shorts or sweats. A free dojo T-shirt will be given to them. Your student will be greeted by a leader. They will be shown where to put their shoes and socks. The leader will take the student to the warm-up area where they will given an intro in the process of class. At the end of class, the student will be awarded their white belt. A picture will be taken with the student and instructors.

  • No – serious injuries are extremely uncommon in karate class because karate emphasizes physical and mental control as well as respect for your training partner. We take safety as a priority with proper equipment and proper partner pairing. There is no more risk involved than any other sport or activity.

  • Upon full membership your student will be given a uniform with our dojo logo. The uniform is a part of the training attire worn by all members and instructors.

  • It is important to hold a persons belt in modest regard. It is there primarily to keep your karate gi top closed and keep your pants from falling. We do not all progress at the same pace. We all have different hurdles, distraction, and responsibilities and it’s ok to take your time. Karate is a marathon not a sprint. It’s better to do techniques slowly and perfectly than fast and incorrect. A dedicated student we could estimate could achieve black belt in 5-7 years. Karate is a journey not a destination, and can be a life-long friend.

  • Bowing has no religious meaning, we are a Japanese based martial art, bowing is simply a sign of respect and courtesy. Kind of like a heart-felt handshake in many cultures. Karate begins and ends with respect. If you have a personal conflict regarding this formality, please speak to your instructor. We are a dojo that values communication and inclusion.
